Carrie Forrest is a vegan food writer whose blog, Carrie on Vegan, presents recipes that minimize oil, sugar and salt. Her blog posts inspire people to make easy, health-promoting meals at home that are 100% delicious!
Carrie earned an MBA in marketing and entrepreneurism at the University of Southern California and then switched gears and began pursuing her interest in nutrition and wellness. She is currently working on a master’s degree in public health (MPH) in nutrition and finishing the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in nutrition. Her goal is to write about nutrition and health issues and spread the word about healthy, plant-based living.
Carrie reviews health and nutrition-related books for Our Hen House, a non-profit, multi-media organization dedicated to mainstreaming the movement to end cruelty to animals. She also serves as a website content writer for the non-profit Nutritional Research Foundation (NRF) which promotes clinical research to prove the connections between a high-nutrient diet and the prevention and reversal of chronic disease.
